Children experience issues that they are not able to articulate and are often misunderstood. We have a well-supplied therapeutic activity room that allows for children to express and work through the emotions and negative experiences that life often brings. For children diagnosed or suspected of having Attention Deficit Disorders, we have the TOVA. The T.O.V.A. objectively measures the key components of attention and self-control, variability (consistency), response time (speed), commissions (impulsivity), and omissions (focus and vigilance). The T.O.V.A. provides information that is not available through self-report or the report of others. It can be used along with subjective measures for a more comprehensive picture of academic, social, and personal performance.
We also have the Interactive Metronome as an adjunct treatment that has been found very useful in addressing impulsivity, attention and concentration issues and learning issues. http://www.interactivemetronome.com/index.php/success-stories/media-coverage.html
